Rapid Transit

Our experience in metropolitan transit projects stretches from the nation’s oldest system – San Francisco’s famed cable cars – to some of the newest. Our many rapid transit projects included BART in the San Francisco Bay Area, METRO in Washington DC,  and MARTA in Atlanta, Cut and cover, at-grade, aerial systems, and stations are all within the capabilities of Underground.

Pumping

Pump stations are an integral component of any pipeline infrastructure – the heart of the system. Performance and reliability are critical, whether delivering drinking or irrigation water, transferring sewage, moving petroleum products, or preventing floods. Underground Construction is skilled in the construction and maintenance of pump stations, as well as the pipelines that carry the product.

Heavy Construction

Our projects span the spectrum of heavy construction for both public and private owner. Underground crews have installed miles of municipal water and sewer mains. We have built hydroelectric works, cogeneration plants and thermal energy systems. These projects are managed and supervised by our staff of professional engineers and superintendents who meet the daily challenges of time, environment, and project complexity.
