After originally being hired by Nick Cunningham as a laborer, Mike went
to work for Billy Richardson as a Carpenter Foreman at the Chevron Refinery.
He also helped to build the large Castro Street tunnel under the direction
of Ron Perue and Allen Ellison. Almost ten years later he transferred to
the Utilities Division and has been working as a foreman in the South Bay
for the last five.
Mike lives in Vacaville with his wife, Patti, a massage therapist for
the Chronic Pain Management Center. Between them they have four children,
Michael 20, Sommer 22, Leah 23, and Ragan 24, as well as three grandchildren,
Tommy, Katlin and Cameron.
While their jobs and children keep them pretty busy, Mike and Patti still
find an occasional weekend to go camping and fishing.
Mike is currently recouperating from back surgery. Our best wishes go
out to him for a speedy recovery. |
