In our continued commitment to
provide a safe work environment for our employees and customers, Underground Construction
Co. Inc. has designed a new sticker that informs our employees to stop digging at four
feet deep and call their foreman. The foreman then calls his engineer to fax Cal/OSHA a
notification form that we are excavating and entering a pit or trench in their area. This
form describes the type of shoring, shields, or sloping that is being used. Additionally,
our sticker reminds our employees they will need a ladder. |
